The former may even be a location in Star Wars Eclipse, as a prequel-era Naboo starfighter can be seen in one of its shots. Two humans of note appear in the trailer. They are the most numerous sentient species by the time of the Galactic Civil War and populated many planets across the galaxy as the dominant species, such as Naboo and Tatooine.

There are of course human characters shown too, and in the Star Wars universe, they are thought to possibly be native to the ecumenopolis Coruscant.

There are only a few other known ‘Yodas’ in the Star Wars universe, including Jedi Master Yaddle and Mandalorian Foundling Grogu. These beings are small in size and stature, with green skin, expressive pointed ears, and large eyes. Yoda is one of Star Wars Eclipse's High Republic Jedi, but as far as his alien species is concerned, it's yet to be officially named. The trailer also provides a shot of the Jedi High Council Chamber, in which Yoda stands overlooking a busy Coruscant. Memorable Neimoidians include Viceroy Nute Gunray and his right-hand (Neimoidian) man, Rune Haako, of the Trade Federation organization. These features are reminiscent of the Duros as they are distant relatives the Duros had discovered Neimoidia long before the High Republic, and over millennia the settlers adapted to the planet’s humid climate and heavy gravity atmosphere.

Later in the trailer, a stoic, official-looking Neimoidian appears. Corporations, like the Trade Federation, were growing in might and renown, and came to rival the Republic in its waning years. However, there was plenty of political unrest, with the Republic also expanding into the Outer Rim territories. The Sith had been gone for 800 years, and the Republic was active throughout the galaxy. This was largely a period of peace and prosperity for the Galactic Republic, and is also referred to as the Golden Age of the Jedi. Star Wars Eclipse has a High Republic setting, meaning it takes place in the era that precedes the Skywalker Saga by 200 years and has so far only been explored in novels and comics. The game looks as though it takes place towards the end of the High Republic era, and will feature a host of new characters and planets, as well as possible returning figures, like Master Yoda. Eclipse will be an action/adventure game with an emphasis on decision making, and the course of the story will vary dramatically based on the players’ choices. The cinematic trailer for the upcoming game Star Wars Eclipse features glimpses of many different canon species in the Star Wars universe.
